Tata Punch.ev Review: Our Verdict
The Punch.ev is the small EV we see most at Kondapur, and the 2026 facelift’s Infinity Glow tail-lamp bar is the first thing owners ask us to protect — it is a wide, exposed lens that scratches at the first touchless-wash brush. The body is the petrol Punch’s with a sealed, painted nose, so stone chips show on the front panel where a grille would have hidden them, and the car is heavier, so the sills and the lower rear doors pit faster. Paint quality is a notch above the petrol Punch, especially on Fearless Yellow and Supernova Copper, but the bonnet clear coat remains thin. Typical visitor: an Empowered+ S 40 in yellow or copper, owned by a two-car household using it for the school run and Hitec City. The tall stance keeps the front bumper off most speed breakers.
