The A6s we see in Kondapur are almost always chauffeur-driven, and it changes what we look for: not fresh dealer swirls but valet scuffs on the rear bumper and corners from tight apartment basements. The long bonnet and front bumper pick up expressway chips exactly like the A4's, just over a bigger area, and the 19-inch alloys on Technology-trim cars curb-rash easily on uneven society driveways. The cabin itself has aged well — the open-pore wood and brushed metal on cars we strip down for films still look factory-fresh after 50,000 km — which tells you Audi's interior material choice has held up better than some German rivals in Hyderabad heat and dust. FWD-only means there's no quattro traction advantage over a 5 Series or E-Class, but the ride comfort more than compensates for owners who care about the back seat first.

The 2.0 TFSI 45 engine carries an ARAI-claimed figure of 14.11 kmpl. Real-world highway mileage reported by owners tends to run close to this; city mileage is lower given the car's size and weight.
The A6 (C8) was Euro NCAP tested in 2018 and scored 5 stars, but that rating expired under Euro NCAP's revalidation schedule on 1 January 2025 and the India-spec car has never been tested by Bharat NCAP or Global NCAP. Treat the 2018 score as historical rather than a current rating.
The A6, 5 Series and E-Class are comfort-first executive sedans at a similar price; the A6's case is its 530-litre boot and a cabin that wears well over high mileage, while the 5 Series and E-Class answer with rear-wheel drive and more active safety kit on some variants. The (hybrid) Toyota Camry undercuts all three on running cost but lacks their badge and rear-seat theatre. A back-to-back test drive on your usual roads is worth it before deciding.
