PPF for Mahindra XEV 9S Hyderabad

AG1 (192µm, 8-year warranty) is our default recommendation for a Pack One Above or Pack Two Above XEV 9S. For a Pack Three or Pack Three Above — or any XEV 9S you plan to keep for the life of the battery warranty — AG1 Square (221µm, 12-year warranty, hydrophobic top coat) is the sensible upgrade. XPEL Ultimate Plus (193µm, 10-year) is the pick if you specifically want a globally recognised brand. We also install STEK DYNOshield, 3M Scotchgard Pro, LLumar and Garware if you have a preference.

No. Professionally installed PPF is a surface film on the painted panels — it does not alter the body, electrics, battery or any Mahindra-fitted system, and it does not affect the vehicle or high-voltage battery warranty. We plot and apply film in a dust-controlled bay to OEM-safe standards and register the film's own manufacturer warranty in your name as a separate document.

Not when it is plotted correctly. The charging flap sits on the left rear quarter panel — we wrap the flap panel as its own piece and keep the flap edge free so it opens and seals exactly as before; the CCS2 port itself is never covered. The front radar on Pack Two Above and the five-radar setup on Pack Three and Pack Three Above sit behind the bumper and are plotted around, as are the 360-degree camera on the bumper and the windscreen camera. PPF does not reduce AC or DC charging speed, does not affect the battery, and does not block radar or camera sensors when the template is cut around them.

Not with the films we install. Older, cheaper PVC films yellowed within a year or two in Hyderabad's UV — that is where the fear comes from. AG1, AG1 Square, XPEL, STEK, 3M and LLumar are TPU films with UV-stable top coats and carry written manufacturer warranties against yellowing, cracking and delamination. On a white car we also pay extra attention to edge alignment and avoid stretching film over the gloss-black trim so no visible lines show.

Full-front (bonnet, front bumper, front fenders, headlamp clusters, mirror caps) covers the panels that take the most ORR and highway damage and is where most XEV 9S owners start. Full-body adds the doors, gloss-black side cladding, roof rails area, tailgate and rear bumper — worth it if you are keeping the car long-term, bought a dark colour like Stealth Black or Midnight Black that shows swirls, or park in an open lot at a tech park every day.

Full-front PPF on the XEV 9S takes 1–2 days at our Kondapur studio; full-body takes 2–3 days because of the number of panels, the flush door handles and the long cladding runs. We offer free pickup and drop across Hyderabad, including collecting the car straight from the Mahindra dealership on delivery day so it reaches you already protected.

The XEV 9S only started deliveries in January 2026, so templates for it are newer than for an XUV700 or Creta. We plot from the latest pattern library and, on the first cars of a new model, hand-measure and verify each panel against the vehicle before cutting — particularly the bumper around the radar and camera openings and the charging-flap panel. Nothing is freehand-cut on the paint.
