X-Line owners, read this first. Xclusive Matte Graphite is a satin factory finish. A gloss PPF on it will look like a clear-coat respray and cannot be undone without removing the film. We only install XPEL Stealth or STEK DYNOmatte on matte Seltos paint, and we recommend full-body so every panel has the same sheen. Matte paint also cannot be polished, so chips on a bare X-Line are permanent; it is the one Seltos where PPF is close to mandatory.

PPF Installation on a Seltos at Auto Grid
The new Seltos has more hard edges than the old one: vertical DRLs that cut into the bonnet and fenders, flush door handles, a gloss-black lower bumper with sensor and radar cut-outs, and a tailgate with the wiper hidden under the spoiler. Each of those is a place where a freehand install goes wrong, so every panel comes off a plotted template.
Paint Inspection
We check the factory paint and the gloss-black plastics for transit marks and dealer-wash swirls before any film goes on. On a matte X-Line we also confirm the finish has not been waxed or polished by the dealer.
Decontamination
Iron fallout remover, clay treatment and a panel wipe-down so the adhesive bonds to clean clear coat. Pearl and matte finishes get a product set suited to them; no abrasive polish ever touches matte paint.

No. PPF is a removable, non-invasive film bonded to the clear coat with a pressure-sensitive adhesive. It does not alter the paint, body or electronics, so it has no bearing on the Kia manufacturer warranty. We install from computer-plotted templates with no blades on the car, and the film carries its own manufacturer warranty, registered in your name, separate from the Kia warranty.

That makes the X-Line the single strongest case for early PPF in the Seltos range, and full-body coverage is the sensible choice so the finish matches panel to panel.
We strongly recommend it. The GTX trims run a gloss-black front bumper and body cladding, dark gunmetal Digital Tiger Face grille accents and gloss-black ORVMs. Gloss-black plastic marks faster than painted metal, and the bumper is the first thing a stray stone or a careless scooter touches in Madhapur traffic. Our full-front template includes the bumper; we plot the cladding and mirror caps as add-on pieces on request.
