The Hyderabad PPF Risk Index
Install-Conditions Data for All 19 Areas
A single, sourced reference table of the road, construction and flood conditions Auto Grid has already documented across Hyderabad — the same research behind each of our 19 area-specific PPF pages, aggregated in one place for the first time.
About This Index
What Is the Hyderabad PPF Risk Index?
Every area page Auto Grid publishes — from Gachibowli's ORR stone-chip corridor to Kompally's stalled NH44 flyover — starts with real, dated local research: GHMC and HMDA tenders, Telangana Police traffic advisories, NHAI project updates, and named local news coverage. Until now, that research has only lived on each area's own page. This index pulls it together into one sourced table across all 19 documented areas, so a car owner, a journalist, or another Hyderabad car-care site can see the full picture at a glance instead of reading nineteen separate pages.
This is a living reference, not a one-time write-up. Every time Auto Grid builds a new area page or refreshes an existing one's sourced facts, this index is updated to match — see each row's “Full sourced page” link for that area's complete timeline, dates, and sourcing.
Methodology
How We Verify Every Entry
We don't write risk claims from general impressions of Hyderabad traffic. Every row below is a short summary of a fuller, dated write-up on that area's own page, and every fact in that write-up traces to a named, dated primary source — a civic-authority tender or advisory, a court filing, or local press coverage we fetched and read directly, not a secondhand summary.
Where a disruption's current status hasn't been reconfirmed by a newer report, we say so rather than guessing it has been resolved. Hafeezpet's Vaishali Nagar underpass advisory is a working example: our page doesn't just repeat the original end date, because that date was itself superseded by a second extension before we found that out — it states the most recent confirmed extension and explicitly flags that no reopening has been confirmed since. That same standard applies to every dated entry in this index.
What this index deliberately does notdo: estimate costs, predict when any ongoing civic project will finish, or treat a chronic, structural risk (like ORR stone chips or steep-road brake dust) as if it were a dated, resolvable event. Structural risks are labelled as such below, not left to look like they're expiring.
Areas With an Unresolved, Dated Disruption
Per each area's own sourced-date-plus-hedge convention, 8 of the 19 areas below currently carry a specific, dated infrastructure disruption whose completion hasn't been confirmed by any newer report: Hafeezpet, Tellapur, Kompally, Attapur, Miyapur, Ameerpet, Nizampet and Shaikpet. This is a summary of what's already stated on each area's own page, not a new finding — click through to any of them for the exact dates and sources.

Every “primary risk factor(s)” cell above is reproduced from that area's own live page in src/lib/ppf-area-data.ts — nothing here is a new or re-researched claim. Category labels are Auto Grid's own editorial classification of that existing, already-sourced text, for faster scanning only.
Why It Matters
What Your Area's Risk Profile Should Change About Your Order
An area's documented risk profile is useful precisely because it changes a real decision, not just a talking point. A car driven daily through active flyover construction or an ORR stone-chip corridor (Gachibowli, Financial District, Kukatpally, Kokapet) typically needs full-front or full-body PPF coverage, not a token bonnet-only wrap — see our full body vs full front decision guide for how we frame that choice. A car facing chronic monsoon flooding or silt exposure (Narsingi, Ameerpet) benefits from the dust-release and swirl-resistance edge of graphene coating over standard ceramic, where that lander already exists for the area.
None of this changes which brand of film is right for a given car — that still depends on the car itself, not the area. For the brand decision, see our full PPF brands comparison. What area risk data changes is coverage extent and coating choice, which is exactly what each area's own dedicated page already recommends — this index just makes it easy to see the pattern across all 19 at once.

FAQs
Hyderabad PPF Risk Index — Common Questions
It's a single reference table aggregating the documented road, construction, drainage and flood conditions Auto Grid has already researched and published across its 19 Hyderabad area pages — Gachibowli, Madhapur, HITEC City, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Kukatpally, Secunderabad, Financial District, Manikonda, Kokapet, Narsingi, Miyapur, Hafeezpet, Ameerpet, Nizampet, Tellapur, Shaikpet, Attapur and Kompally. Each row links to that area's own page for the full sourced detail.
Every entry traces back to a dated primary source cited in full on that area's own PPF, ceramic or graphene page — GHMC and HMDA tenders and inspection reports, Telangana Police traffic advisories, NHAI project updates, or named local news coverage (The Hindu, Telangana Today, Hyderabad Mail, Deccan Chronicle and similar outlets). Nothing on this page is written from general impressions of Hyderabad traffic.
Whenever one of the 19 underlying area pages is built or its sourced facts are refreshed — the same ongoing integrity process Auto Grid runs across its full area-lander matrix — this index is updated to match. Where a disruption's current status hasn't been reconfirmed by a newer report, the underlying area page says so rather than assuming it has been resolved, and this index reflects that same hedge.
Yes. Journalists, local publications and other Hyderabad sites are welcome to reference this data with a link back to https://www.autogrid.shop/hyderabad-ppf-risk-index as the source.
Not necessarily — film thickness is one factor among several (see our full PPF brands comparison for why thickness alone doesn't decide protection). What an area's risk profile actually changes is coverage and coating choice: a car facing active construction dust or flyover debris daily benefits more from full-front or full-body PPF plus graphene coating than one parked under cover in a lower-risk area.
