Isuzu D-Max V-Cross
The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is India's adventure-utility pickup truck, updated for 2026 with a 163 PS 1.9L diesel, 6-speed manual or automatic, and 4x4 only after the 4x2 option was discontinued. It is sold in Z and Z Prestige trims with an auto-locking differential standard, and its only direct rival is the Toyota Hilux.
Isuzu MU-X
The Isuzu MU-X is a body-on-frame, 7-seat SUV sharing its 163 PS 1.9L diesel with the D-Max V-Cross, paired exclusively with a 6-speed torque-converter automatic in 4x2 and 4x4 Standard trims. It rivals the Toyota Fortuner and Jeep Meridian and has not yet been crash-tested by Global or Bharat NCAP.
