PPF pricing is not arbitrary. Three factors drive the cost, and understanding them helps you evaluate whether a quote is reasonable or a red flag.

Why Cheap Quotes Are a Red Flag
If you find a quote significantly below these ranges, ask:
- Is there a dust-free installation environment? Film applied in open air traps contamination under the adhesive, causing bubbles and edge peeling within months.
- Does the studio use computer-cut templates? Hand-trimming on the vehicle risks paint nicks and inconsistent edge coverage.
- Is paint correction included? Skipping this step means PPF is applied over swirls and contamination — sealed in permanently.
- What brand is the film? Unbranded or grey-market film carries no warranty and may yellow within a year.
