The PPF Process at Our Kondapur Studio
Step 1: Paint Inspection and Correction
Before any film is applied, your car's paint is inspected under specialist lighting. Any swirls, contamination, or rock chips are addressed with paint correction. This is non-negotiable — applying PPF over existing damage seals it in permanently. We use clay bar treatment, decontamination wash, and machine polishing to achieve a clean, corrected surface.
Step 2: Computer Template Cutting
We use digital templates precision-plotted for your exact car make, model, and year. This eliminates hand-trimming directly on the vehicle — the primary cause of paint nicks during installation at less experienced workshops. Templates are cut from our pattern database, updated regularly for new models.
Step 3: Installation in a Dust-Free Environment
Film is applied using professional slip solution and squeegee technique in our climate-controlled studio. Temperature and humidity are controlled to ensure optimal film adhesion during installation.
Step 4: Cure Period
After installation, the vehicle remains in our studio for a minimum 24-hour cure period. During this time, the adhesive fully sets. The vehicle should not be washed for 7 days after collection to allow the edges to cure completely.
Step 5: Aftercare Briefing
